FieldhouseFiles.com takes you behind the scenes at Gainbridge Fieldhouse as Caitlin Clark, head coach Stephanie White, and general manager Amber Cox join the Indiana Fever for a hands-on Habitat for Humanity build on April 16.
In partnership with Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity and supported by State Farm, the Fever tipped off construction on a new home for a local mother and her son — assembling interior and exterior wall panels right on the court. Those walls will soon become part of a three-bedroom home in Marion County, marking the start of a project that extends far beyond basketball.
“Homeownership will mean the world to me because it represents something my mother always wanted for our family. Growing up in a single parent household, she did everything she could with the resources she had,” said future homeowner Paris.
