During Monterey Car Week, Honda Racing Corporation introduced the HRC Heritage Racing Program — a new initiative dedicated to preserving, restoring, and racing iconic Honda and Acura championship-winning machines.
The program gives enthusiasts the opportunity to purchase historic race cars, supported by comprehensive restoration, service, sales, and trackside support. Using original engineering documentation, technical archives, and expertise from HRC engineers, each car is restored with authenticity and history in mind.
The program launched with the Sebring-winning Acura ARX-01a, the first race car available through the initiative.
Throughout Monterey Car Week, Honda Racing brought this heritage to life at The Quail, Pebble Beach, and the Rolex Reunion at Laguna Seca — giving fans the opportunity to see these legendary machines up close and back on track.
With more than eight decades of racing heritage spanning Formula One, IndyCar, IMSA, MotoGP, Baja, Dakar, and more, the HRC Heritage Racing Program is helping preserve Honda and Acura’s racing legacy for generations to come.
