Go on a weekday: Tickets are significantly cheaper (almost half the price of a busy weekend).
Take your time: The main room is a 39-minute looping piece of art. If you rush through, you won't get your money's worth. Sit down and take it all in.
Prepare for motion: If you are prone to motion sickness, bring Dramamine or sit down on the floor in the main room. The floor projections can easily trick your brain!
