In today’s episode, we sit down with Anahat Singh, India’s top-ranked woman squash player and the newly crowned World Junior Squash Champion, who at just 18 has made history by becoming the first Indian to win the title, ending Egypt’s 16-year hold on the girls’ singles championship. The JSW-supported athlete has won three Senior and five Junior National titles, along with three British Junior Open titles across three different age categories.
We talk about her journey from becoming India’s youngest-ever squash player at the Commonwealth Games in 2022 to winning two bronze medals at the 2023 Asian Games. She also shares how she rose through the PSA Tour, winning nine titles in 2024, the most by any woman that year, breaking into the world’s Top 100, and reaching a career-high World No. 19.
We also talk about her transition to the senior circuit and what squash making its Olympic debut at LA 2028 could mean for the next chapter of her career.
