In the late 1800s, a wealthy landowner and writer named Bernard restored the property, rebuilding parts of the tower, adding 18th- and 19th-century woodwork, and creating a private salon and chapel. This became his personal sanctuary — a hidden world dedicated to art, literature, and history.
But when Bernard passed away, the castle doors closed for good. Today, this forgotten French castle remains untouched, its 35-meter tower standing as a silent guardian over centuries of stories, waiting to be rediscovered.
