Is Times Square pizza actually GOOD⊠or is it just tourist food?
In this video, I try my very first Times Square slice at Little Italy Pizza on 7th Ave & 48th Street in NYC. I go in for a classic cheese slice and end up meeting Alex, a kind woman waiting in line who tells me this place is a true hidden gem in Times Square. She even agrees to a quick interview and shares why sheâs such a big fan of the pizza here.
From there, the official review begins. I break the slice down across four categories: temperature, walkability (how easy it is to carry and eat while navigating the chaos of NYC streets), overall taste, and value. I also reveal the price and talk through whether it actually feels like a proper New York slice or something more geared toward tourists, and I ultimately decide if I would come back again.
While exploring, we take in the energy of Times Square itselfâstreet dancers performing, a guy getting his hair cut right in the middle of the action, tourists being pranked, and the constant motion of the city. We also pass iconic landmarks like the red steps and the M&M Store, along with the overwhelming presence of fast food chains including McDonaldâs, Popeyes, Taco Bell, Raising Caneâs, Hard Rock Cafe, and Bubba Gump Shrimp Company.
