Here's a look inside Suzuki's G13 4 cylinder engine to see what's inside and how it works!

The G13 is a 1.3L engine with all aluminum construction. Its light weight and simplicity is what lends to the Suzuki Swift and Geo Metro's fuel economy and reliability. The engine uses a single overhead camshaft with a rocker arm system. Each cylinder only has one valve for intake and one for exhaust.

The bottom end is built solid enough for the very few horsepower that this engine produced, with two bolt main bearings and a simple oil lubrication system.
