What does life look like when a prison sentence has no end?
Stacey Dooley travels inside one of America's most progressive women's correctional facilities, where dozens of inmates are serving life without the possibility of parole. Through candid conversations with prisoners, correctional staff and the prison's warden, she explores how women adapt to the reality of spending the rest of their lives behind bars.
The documentary follows inmates at different stages of their sentences—from those newly arriving and struggling to adjust, to women who have spent decades rebuilding their lives inside the prison community.
