This is what's inside the red capacitor from my 3700 volt "Big Boy" bug zapper. This thing is crazy, watch my bug zapper TV video to see it in action.
So I went to use it one day to enjoy a bug fireworks show and it was zapping differently, I had an idea that the capacitor was blown so I changed it and now Mr big boy is back in action. I may mod this thing so of the capacitor blows regularly I'll just get a bunch and then rig some type of socket so I can just pop a new one in. This thing is heavily overdriven but it makes for one hell of a show.
