Designer Harriet Anstruther welcomes House & Garden into her West Sussex farmhouse. The exterior? A hotchpotch of charming Sussex vernacular accompanied by grander Georgian additions layered into the backdrop of the rolling chalk hills of the county. The interior? A true eclectic collection of cherished pieces, flooding each room with floor-to-ceiling character.

“I like it to be soothing. I like it to be exciting. I like it to be slightly odd.. everything resonates with something, it has a meaning,” says Anstruther as she describes the motif that courses through the decor.
