Big shoutout to long time friend and collector: Delibird Deals. He was kind enough to part with a portion of his collection. I'm stoked to add many of these treasured pieces to collection and be able to share them with you all.
The error card community has grown tremendously over the years. It's great to see so many more collectors embrace error cards. The average collector is much more aware and knowledgeable due to the overwhelming stewardship of many error enthusiasts. It's not easy either. This part of the hobby has a steeper learning curve to get up to speed. There's a constant balance of questioning authenticity, confidence in your experience, phoning 3 or 4 friends for second opinions, understanding scarcity and consistency as well as being able to delicately explain someone's very cool error is not worth $1,000,000 (we all have a story). An insane amount of error cards continue to surface due to the many diligent educational efforts by those in the hobby. The net benefit has been appreciated across the board.
I've always viewed errors as the last major challenge of collecting. It's the phase people gravitate towards once they've achieved their initial goals. It's the "how else can I collect my favorite cards and still keep the hobby alive at the same time?" It's the adrenaline running through the veins when someone discovers a new error and shares their story tied to it. Even in the new roaring 20s, we're still learning so much about the hobby.
Now go check your collection and find an error card. :)
