This is one of the best and most unique layouts i have played so far. Every bit of it was enjoyable, although it is slightly unbalanced because of the last ship. It is currently in its decoration progress right now, hopefully it gets finished, verified, and rated.

Happy Lunar New Year!
The level I was most hyped for, finally gets released! Im also honored to work to playtest this level so that it plays very well (and it certainly does). About the deco, l enjoy the theming of Vietnamese New Year and overall designs, which would make it LightningSLs best solo, a significant step-up from NEon.

Jazz piano layout
Man, GD 2.2 coming out is a crazy thing to witness. There are so many things to try out and explore that you can get lost in all its features. Here, I used some of the simpler 2.2 features in this dual based layout, including the options trigger and free camera. I’m quite surprised it didn’t take me long to create this; it only took around a week for me to make 72 seconds of gameplay. However, I’m really satisfied with this layout because I had many ideas with the dual game mode with this sort of song in mind.
More information: The song uses overdubbing of multiple distinct piano tracks, which inspired me to extensively use the dual gamemode throughout the layout.
If this gets 100 likes, I will extend this layout until the end of this song (~5 minutes total length).
Update: This already got at least 100 likes, so expect some previews of the full thing within the next months.

Note: I removed a blue pad at the beginning of the level because it causes a bug on 144hz that always make you crash at 1%.
This is one of the best layouts in terms of gameplay that I have played.
This layout really flows well with the song and could be considered SoulGDs masterpiece. There are some skips that I couldve done and have done throughout the level. However, this layout doesnt really click sync and mostly relies on visual sync. It has one brutal timing at the end, which I died to twice.
If only this were rated already...

I guess this is one of my collab parts ever…
I initially had many crazy ideas for this but then I was unsatisfied with the result and remade this. I then tried to kind of rush this part but I was also unsatisfied and I forgot to read the theme 💀. My third try i really paid attention to the theme and asked the host (Zilka) for reference images.
Thanks to Zilka, some ideas really expressed themselves and i ended up implementing some buildings combined with my cavernous gameplay.
I guess my part paid attention to the theme the most…

This will be by last collab part for a while since I will be taking a break from discord. I will be more focused on attempting to make gameplay purely for fun, possibly a solo layout, or trying to rebeat Balengu Vortex on mobile (48%, 60-97).
Anyways, about the part, if you couldnt tell from the first second or so, I decided to use only slopes for that part. Its pretty experimental while keeping a sense of correspondence with the song.
Note: This part has all of the base gp along with some structuring. I hadnt used alpha channels on some objects or deleted placeholder objects.
