So, what do millionaires do? How do they live? Is their life so much different than ours? Let's go ahead and find that out.
#1 - we find out that they work out a lot. The wealthy are big fans of working out and make exercise, an integral part of their lives. On average millionaires workout three and a half hours a week.
#2 - they study and invest a lot. Millionaire's preferred investing strategies seem to be fueled by their research, millionaire investors spend more time, at about an average of 10 and a half hours per month planning for investments. Their literacy and financial matters mean that they are more tolerant of taking investment-related risks. So the time they spend managing and researching investments helps in decision making.
#3 - we have extreme inheritances. It's a fantasy to think we all can leave a mountain of money to our children and grandchildren, that they don't have to budget as we did, but large inheritances are something rich people don't use their money for, well, why? Well, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg both said that they want their children to find their way, rather than relying on a handout.
#4 - we have luxury brands. Millionaires can afford the latest fashions from top designers, but that doesn't mean they're spending their hard-earned money on high-end apparel. In fact, the founder of Ikea Ingvar Kamprad actually told Newsweek that he doesn't wear anything that is not from a flea market to set a good example. And bill Gates told time they see still wears a $10 watch despite being able to afford a closet full of Rolex's.
#5 - they have expensive houses. Although their home buying budget is considerably higher. Rich people still look for deals. They want to feel like they're getting the most value for either dollar and not like they're getting ripped off. Yes, they might be spending millions, but they're going to try to bargain with the list price like anyone else would. Warren Buffett may be the third richest man in the whole world, but he still lives in the home he bought back in 1958 for $31,500.
#6 - few credit cards. It's understandable that a wealthy person might not want to walk around with a ton of cash in their pocket, but don't think for a second that their wallet is filled with a ton of credit cards from every single bank. Tom Corley author of the bestselling book, rich habits, the daily habits of successful people told us news and world reports only 8% of rich people to use more than one card.
#7 - we got gambling. Of course, rich people don't need to play the lottery since they've already struck rich, but they are still against wasting their money on gambling.
#8 - we have television and games. Rich people did the mass, their fortune sitting around and staring at a screen all day. And that's why they don't waste money on jumbo TV packages, or the latest video games.
#9 - we have been renting houses. It's not even deal with the hassle of buying a home, renting is more popular than ever even among the wealthy.
#10 - we have a reading. The wealthy don't rely on the TV or Facebook newsfeeds for information. The vast majority of the rich read for at least 30 minutes every single day, they read for knowledge and to get an edge on the competition, closely tracking the latest developments in their fields and current events as a whole, as well as reading biographies about successful people.
