Misshappycatholic | Innovation vs. Adaptation and Development in the Church @mrshappycatholic | Uploaded September 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Some thoughts of mine while answering a friend who asked about innovation being a precursor to change - in a good way - in the Catholic Church.
What should we keep in mind about reform, change, progress, and relating to the cultural atmosphere of different times and places as a Church? Is there any room for that within Catholicism? What do we need to keep in mind when considering these issues?
So much more could be said, but here are my thoughts, for what it's worth. The Catholic Church maintains Tradition and does not break with continuity, but the expression of that tradition does not need to be narrow, and in reality is varied and rich!
God bless you, and thank you for watching!!
