By experimenting with new technologies and co-creating solutions, SRV, Telia and KONE collaborated to improve construction site logistics and productivity. Together we tackled the question - how can we help workers make better use of their time on building sites?
Aiming at improving the flow of people and materials on high-rise sites, together with our customer SRV we co-created KONE SiteFlow, that offers anonymized insights and guidance on the flow of goods and people. Telia 5G network was used for data transfer to enable communication on the construction site. Combining KONE SiteFlow with other KONE solutions, like KONE JumpLift, we achieved less waiting for construction workers, no unnecessary stops for elevators, as well as better overall productivity of the site.
