Inky, our sweet little chickadee, returned to her nest box after being out all day. She hasn’t started incubation yet, and we still don’t know how many eggs have been laid—if any! Each morning, she carefully covers her nest bed before leaving for the day, keeping it a mystery for now.

This evening, she shimmied into her cozy spot and settled in for the night.
I wonder when we will get our first glimpse of eggs?
