Mini Tutorial using Rodypolis Ink 4K elements to drive opacity masks and Caustics in Hitfilm Pro 3.
A similar effect can be done in Hitfilm 2 Ultimate, using the Parallax effect. (Requires 3D Model Pack and Particle Pack. If you're thinking of buying both of those, no, just save up for Pro. Trust me.)
Segments of this were done in Sony Vegas Pro 13 using it's Pan/Crop tool. For Hitfilm users this can be done by scaling the ink up and keyframing movement and rotation. I'm just faster in Vegas for that kind of edit.
