Tinsel is a bright red that doesn’t give me anxiety. Yes, some red inks stress me out; they typically remind me of homework assignments and marked up essays from high school. Fortunately, the warm red with pink shimmer make it appear more encouraging and invigorating rather than condemning. I’m hesitant, as always, about trying out a red ink, but I’m hopeful that it will work out as well as it did with last year’s standard ink, Diamine Cardinal.
I posted a longer video swatching this ink on several different papers and comparing it to other ink swatches in my collection.
