This is one of those ink colors that’s very familiar to many of us in the pen community. It’s bluer than your typical emerald green, but greener than your typical teal. Velvet Emerald has a very subtle (almost non-existent) red sheen, and seems like it would perform flawlessly in any pen.

I posted a longer video swatching this ink on several different papers and comparing it to other ink swatches in my collection.
