Avant-Garde Death Metal duo, Ingurgitating Oblivion's have released this statement:
"In 2024 we released our album Ontology of Nought. From the outset, it was an unusually demanding undertaking, particularly when it came to shaping the final mix—one of the more intricate challenges we have encountered throughout our nearly three decades as a band.
Recording instruments such as vibraphone, various flutes, singing bowls, piano, spoken word passages, clean vocals, and delicate harmonic structures—interwoven with densely layered compositions—created a sonic constellation that proved both fascinating and formidable. We are aware that the album’s particular character was not universally accessible. While some listeners embraced its atmosphere and distinctive production, others found it less immediately approachable. Even so, we have always regarded the original result as something singular and meaningful.
Yet over time we sensed that the work still contained unrealized potential, as though certain contours of the music had not fully emerged from beneath its own density. This prompted us to return to the material and revisit the mix with renewed attention.
Our intention is to present the album in a different light. Each of the five compositions that constitute the record will be released individually in a newly remixed version, accompanied by a video reflecting the atmosphere and emotional landscape we associate with the respective piece. These releases will appear sequentially, with intervals of approximately two to three weeks between them.
Once all five videos have premiered on YouTube, the complete remixed album will also become available on all major streaming platforms.
This undertaking should not be understood as a rejection of the original version. Rather, it is an attempt to reveal the music from another perspective—to allow its inner structures, textures, and subtleties to unfold with greater clarity and presence.
