A major step forward for nature and access in the Yorkshire Dales.

We’ve extended Ingleborough NNR by 179 hectares to a total of 1,186 hectares and made it the twelfth reserve to join the King’s Series of National Nature Reserves.

The extension now incorporates further land managed by Natural England and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, improving public access and securing the future of rare habitats and their wildlife.
