"Think of a number between 1 and 8. Don't tell me it - because I'm going to ask you some questions about it..." With these words, and the help of an audience volunteer and a (soft!) throwable microphone, Professor Robert Harle kicks off a sample lecture on Information Theory. This was given at our July 2026 Open Days and is designed to give prospective applicants an idea of what it's like to attend a Computer Science lecture here as an undergraduate.
