It's impossible to suppress our musical influences, they have a stubborn habit of repeatedly materialising in our own music creations. I spent a long time refusing to listen to anyone else's music just in case it influenced my own, but all that happened was I ran out of ideas! In the track that I play in this video can you detect the influences? I deliberately made some very obvious, but others are more subtle.
