Today we’re tackling two major 3D printer repairs in our shop! First, we’re upgrading our @bondtechab INDX Founders Edition induction system on our @Prusa3D CORE One by swapping out dock holders for stronger, better-looking orange prints. We walk through removing magnets, pre-tapping bolts, and the essential calibration sequence to get the machine back to peak performance.
Then, things get messy with a customer’s @BambuLab X1C suffering from the dreaded Blob of Doom. We troubleshoot an abnormal nozzle temperature error, reveal a snapped thermistor wire, and demonstrate a pro-level (though risky!) thermal runaway trick to safely remove the filament blob. We also dive into the Bambu AMS to replace worn-out, split PTFE tubing. Whether you're dealing with hardware mods or catastrophic print failures, this episode is packed with 3D printing tips to help you print with purpose.
