The Industry Proving Grounds (IPG) Initiative was launched in January 2024 as an effort to radically improve how NOAA develops and delivers actionable climate data and information products for key industry sectors. The IPG focuses on three industries that are key to moving forward as a Climate-Ready Nation based on multi-year collaborations between NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information's (NCEI) and each sector: Re/insurance, Retail, and Architecture/Engineering.
This webinar features distinguished leaders from NOAA’s NCEI, Climate Prediction Center, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, and Hurricane Center, who shared their expertise on historical hurricane data portfolios, the outlook for the 2024 hurricane season, and future hurricane projections.
