Thousands of Indonesians have marched on parliament, demanding tougher penalties for corrupt officials. Riot police kept the protesters outside the legislature’s closed gates. Demonstrators are calling on parliament to pass a bill - stalled since 2008, that will allow authorities to seize the assets of corrupt officials.
