Baykar will export 9 Bayraktar AKINCI Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (TİHA) to Indonesia. In addition to TİHA, payloads such as electro-optics and ammunition will also be delivered.
An agreement was signed between Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar and Republikorp Founder Norman Joesoef for the supply of Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA and the establishment of a joint production line. Thus, Indonesia joins more than 10 countries that have chosen AKINCI.
Bayraktar AKINCI stands out as an important deterrent force on the battlefield with its height, long endurance and large payload capacity. In addition; It is also used effectively in humanitarian aid activities such as fire, earthquake and search and rescue operations.
On the other hand, Indonesia will supply 60 Bayraktar TB3 SIHAs. Thus, the first export of Bayraktar TB3 will be made to Indonesia.
Baykar Breaks National Export Record
To date, Baykar has exported unmanned aerial platforms to nearly 40 countries. The company has signed contracts with more than 10 countries for Akıncı TİHA and with more than 35 countries for Bayraktar TB2 SİHA. It is estimated that the total number of UAV platforms produced by Baykar to date is close to 1000.
Baykar, which has been the export champion in the Turkish defense industry for many years, is also making new steps in the scope of its international activities. Baykar, which recently acquired the Italian aviation company Piaggio Aerospace, will continue its activities in the European market with manned and unmanned aerial platforms.
