This video is a compilation of films that are submitted as India entry to Oscars from ‘Mother India’ in 1957 to Jallikattu Oscar entry in 2020.

We are hopeful for 2021's entry - Koozhangal to get nominated for the Best International feature film this year.

A list of the films that were Indian official entry to Oscars for the Best International feature film (the category was previously termed as Best Foreign Film).

The proudest moment for India at the Oscars were when three of these films got nominated at the Academy Awards - Mother India (1957), Salaam Bombay (1989) & Lagaan (2001).
