The Asian Junior Championships 2026 were held in Mumbai, India from the 16th to the 25th of August 2026. Two Indians managed to win the title - Mayank Chakraborty and Pratitee Bordoloi. Check out the closing ceremony of the event with a hilarious speech by the General Secretary of Asian Chess Federation Hisham Al Taher, emotional moments of winners getting their medals and the national anthem being played and finally short interviews with the champions and their parents.
