This is a tribute to the Indiana State Fair Train, Ran from 1983 to 2015 over the old Monon Railroad (1983-1985) & Over the former Nickel Plate Road (1990-2015) operated by the Indiana Transportation Museum. I have a lot of fond memories of the Fairtrain, having ridden it multiple times over the years & worked on the train as a coach attendant in 2015.
Footage used in this of the FairTrain was provided to me by the Late ITM Member Bob Blome, who shot video of the Fairtrain every year it ran. Footage from the year's 1983, 1984, 1985, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015 were used. Special thanks to Brian Henke for providing me with a recording of the Fairtrain song, which he would sing on the train over the years.
