This week brought intense developments in Minnesota politics and legal questions about federal and state authority. “Almanac” by Twin Cities PBS continues to bring key voices and expert insight to help unpack what’s happening and what it means for the state.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty joined the show and discussed their ability to charge the ICE agent in the fatal use of force against Renee Good, the ongoing heightened ICE action in Minnesota, and reports that the DOJ has opened a criminal case against Governor Walz and Mayor Frey for obstructing law enforcement.
