In our second INCITE in conversation for 2022, we were joined by two academic library professionals from Curtin University in WA, currently involved in their university library’s strategic initiatives for 2022: Engaging with Indigenous perspectives through the Library's services and collections, which is the topic of today’s conversation.
Petra Dumbell is one of Curtin University Library’s Academic Skills Advisors. She is responsible for organising and delivering GRASP, the Graduate Research Advanced Skills Program. The program provides doctoral research students with online resources, workshops, productivity writing sessions, individual academic writing consultations and Thesis Boot Camps.
Anita Sallenbach is Coordinator, Collection Development & Discovery at Curtin Library, where her responsibilities include the selection and renewals process of information resources, the management of ebook products and the evaluation of different acquisition models. She is also involved in the continuous improvement of the Library catalogue.
This session of INCITE in conversation explores an article from the March/April issue of INCITE, the theme of which is ‘Inclusion’.
