This is a listening session on the Federal Communications Commission's ongoing work to secure just and reasonable rates for communications services provided to incarcerated people and their families. The listening session was designed to obtain additional public comment in support of the Commission’s ongoing efforts to ensure just and reasonable rates and charges for incarcerated people’s communications services and engage the public in these continued efforts bolstered by the Martha Wright-Reed Just and Reasonable Communications Act of 2022.
