To round off the year we dive back into the story of the Watercress Line, told by the people who were there.
We hear about how the volunteers learnt to run an ever-expanding railway, some of the characters who left their mark on the line and the event that put the future of the railway in doubt. With signalboxes boarded up, as much as possible barricaded inside and a lone diesel left to patrol the line, would the railway ever open again?
