David is seen feeding cattle, ploughing, lambing, shearing and haymaking. He preserves his copses, homes of badgers, woodpeckers, crows, wrens and jackdaws, and his hedges with their wealth of wildlife.There are birds of prey with their young and young barn owls nesting in his barn.
