Public safety technology can help Protect Life in many ways, even the most unexpected.

Volusia Sheriff's Office's Mike Chitwood described Deputy José Rivera’s survival as a “miracle in the line of duty.” The suspect fired several shots, including one that struck Rivera’s Axon body-worn camera.

We’re grateful to see Deputy José Rivera home safe after his release from the hospital Wednesday morning, where he was welcomed by fellow law enforcement officers and a community of supporters. We wish him continued healing and strength.
