The enemy of Faith comes in many forms and has many faces. Sin waits at the door and our flesh would gladly open it to him. The world hates us and persecutes us because we are of a different accord. The devil roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour laying traps and snares everywhere.
We are born again on a battlefield inside a warzone. We are called to stand uprightly in the Power and Might of the Almighty clothed in the Righteousness of Jesus Christ, our Lord! Jesus has given us the power to tread on scorpions and serpents and over all the power of the enemy. Though we all fall short of this Glory from time to time... God corrects those whom He loves.
It's never too late to empty your cup of yourself, turn back towards the Living God, and to be filled by the Holy Spirit. God will renew your strength and reinforce your Faith because He is good to fulfill His promises towards you. You were born for such a time as this and adversity sharpens you as the instrument of God's will.
When you are weak, He is made strong. Humble yourself and the Lord will exalt you. Trust in Him and know that He is the Lord your God. All things are possible to them that believe. When you wrestle against vanquished foes in many forms you can know that you are given the victory in Christ Jesus. You will be able to stand in the face of the enemy declaring victory in the Lord your Banner, Jehovah Nissi. Wave that Truth in the face of your enemy and take your place as more than a conqueror in the Army of the Lord, through The Truth, Jesus Christ.
