*About this show:* California's Feather River Canyon saw passenger train service once again when the Union Pacific ran excursions there in 1994. The Feather River Special, with 6 dome liners among its 15 passenger cars, was powered by UP's sleek A-B-A set of E-9s.
Pentrex followed the train from Oroville to Portola on Saturday and Portola to Keddie Wye on Sunday. You'll witness the special at Williams Loop, Chandler Creek Bridge, Spanish Creek Trestle, and Keddie Wye. Also featured are the tunnels, the Highline, and the Portola Railroad Museum's restored Western Pacific F-unit.
