In this mixed media DIY, we’re taking Halloween inspiration in a completely different direction—creating a piece that can live in your home well beyond October.
Using Olga’s new Decoupage Queen paper collection, moulded details, rich black finishes, metallic accents, stenciling, and layers of texture, I’ll show you how to transform traditional Halloween imagery into something dark, moody, and beautifully sophisticated.
Think Dark Academia meets autumn décor—aged surfaces, dramatic details, old-world texture, and just enough mystery.
We’ll explore how layering papers, moulds, paint, glaze, and metallic finishes can change the entire feeling of a project. Instead of something that feels strictly “Halloween,” we’ll create décor that works throughout the fall season—or year-round if you love that collected, vintage, slightly Gothic or Dark Academia aesthetic.
