One of our absolute favorites: the Chickasaw plum. 🌼🌿
In early spring, this native beauty bursts into delicate white blossoms—an absolute magnet for pollinators. Then just a few months later, it puts on a whole new show, producing small golden-to-red plums about the size of a cherry tomato (and yes, they’re edible!). 🍑✨
Chickasaw plum thickets also provide incredible shelter for birds and serve as host plants for butterflies and moths.
