I am heart broken. I feel like a part of me has been torn away. On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, we said good bye to our sweet Biscuit. I miss her so much my chest actually physically hurts. But I know she's in a better place, and without any more pain or discomfort.
I'm trying to keep busy because when I get a quiet moment I find myself crying, even when I'm not actually consciously thinking about her. It's odd. I know rationally that after some time the good memories of her will overtake the pain of missing her. I'm hoping that comes sooner than later but in the meantime I'm grateful to have Bandito. He is a comfort.
