There are many things to love about Siem Reap in Cambodia. From Riverside food markets to colourful streets, attractions, international restaurants and cultural Khmer centres. Here are my first impressions of Cambodia and this popular Cambodian city of Siem Reap, known for being based close to one of the world’s wonders, Angkor Wat.
Although many people come to Cambodia just to see the Angkor Wat temples, I believe Siem Reap is an amazing city in itself to spend a beautiful holiday in or even live long term, taking advantage of the countless restaurants, cafes, digital nomad hubs, co-working spaces and more. Today I discover the paradise of Cambodia which I compare to heaven. I also go for massage and beauty treatments and explore the city center and local street night food markets.
This place is full of history and culture, making it an experience to remember for life. I am in love with Siem Reap, the Khmer people and living in this Cambodian city.
