Event Name: Key Components When Planning Virtual Programs
Event Description: Online and virtual learning options are not just for emergency situations, they should be a part of the regular educational ecosystem that is public schooling. So what are the key things to figure out when you're thinking about establishing virtual programming for your students? What are the decisions that need to be made about the structure of your program? The mode and modality of instruction? The affordances and limitations of various tools that can be used to provide synchronous instruction, asynchronous course content and communication, and/or student assessment? The specific supports that students might need in order to have success? These are all questions that will be explored in this session.
