Catherine Deane, a child therapist who uses an experimental technology to enter the minds of comatose patients, navigating surreal dreamscapes shaped by their subconscious. When a serial killer named Carl Stargher falls into a coma after kidnapping his latest victim, FBI agents enlist Catherine to enter his twisted mind to locate the girl before time runs out. Inside, she encounters a nightmarish landscape of disturbing imagery and fragments of Stargher’s traumatic past, blurring the line between reality and the killer’s psyche. As she races against the clock, Catherine must outwit the monstrous version of Stargher in his mind and reach the part of him capable of revealing the victim’s location, even if it means risking her own sanity.
