Are you worn out by the pressure to be useful, always working to prove your worth through productivity?

We often feel guilty about “wasting time.” But what if those supposedly inefficient, unproductive moments are actually where creativity and meaning live?

In this Notes From a Slow Coach video, I reflect on a social media post about keeping our “coffer of ideas” full, and connect it with Byung-Chul Han’s The Burnout Society (yes, again!). Is our fear of slowing down, pausing, and wasting time actually fueling burnout? And what might change if we reclaimed time for play, ritual, and even pointless excess instead?
