Ross S. Delston is a Washington, DC-based attorney, expert witness, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and former U.S. banking regulator (FDIC).
Ross has specialized in Anti-money Laundering (AML) issues for over 19 years. He has also been a consultant to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) since 1997 and has participated in the AML assessments of nine offshore financial centers, including Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Bermuda and St. Vincent.
Ross Delston has also been a consultant to the World Bank on bank regulatory and insolvency issues since 1998. In addition, Ross has been named as an expert witness in 12 civil cases involving AML and fraud including on behalf of the U.S. Attorney’s Office (SDNY) in a civil forfeiture case, US v. Prevezon.
In addition, Ross has been named as an expert witness in numerous civil cases involving AML, including on behalf of the U.S. Attorney’s Office (SDNY).
Ross has been quoted on AML and banking issues in the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, New Yorker, Bloomberg, American Banker, USA Today, the Nikkei (Japan) and the Hindu Business Line (India).
He has spoken about these issues at the FDIC, IMF, the Reserve Bank of India, and the Peoples Bank of China (central bank), the Reserve Bank of India and at other private and public conferences and seminars throughout the world.
