Brendan Barry is a photographer, educator, and creative innovator who turns the ordinary into extraordinary. Known for transforming everyday objects, and even entire buildings, into cameras, Brendan’s work challenges how we think about photography.

So, what is a camera obscura? It’s one of the oldest principles in photography: a darkened space where light enters through a small hole, projecting an inverted image of the outside world onto a surface inside.

Brendan takes this centuries-old concept and pushes it to the extremes, creating giant installations and interactive experiences that reconnect us with the magic of seeing. And one of his goals is to share this photographic method with the public.
