Akaashi couldn’t help but notice how Bokuto shivered every time he visited. Always cold. The thought made Akaashi shiver himself, and he felt sympathy for his sick friend once more. He wanted to help him.

Bokuto always appreciated when Akaashi stopped by to visit. Most people he knew didn’t visit often, but Akaashi was there frequently. He was especially ecstatic when Akaashi brought a gift for him. “What is it?” He cried, nearly jumping out of the bed. Had Akaashi not kept him down, he probably would’ve. “It’s not special, but I believe it will be better than these hospital sheets.” Akaashi sighed, draping a thick blanket over Bokuto. The stitching wasn’t exactly sloppy, but it wasn’t exactly perfecccct either. Bokuto opened his mouth to question, though Akaashi had beat him with an answer. “Sorry if it seems unprofessional, I made it, but I hope it’ll bring you enough warmth. Plus, if I’d bought a blanket for you, you probably wouldn’t accept it.” Bokuto grinned at his response, chirping in satisfaction as he snuggled tightly in it’s comfort. After a moment, he looked up at his friend. “I’m still a bit cold.” Akaashi frowned, leaning closer and examining the carefully woven material. “Did I forget to seal a hole? Perhaps I can sew it up, I may have some materials in my car.” He yelped when Bokuto pulled him onto the hospital bed, wrapping the blanket around him as well.

“I’m a lot warmer now.”
