Abiogenesis is the "claim" that nature has spontaneously created life from non-life.
However when we examine natural spontaneous systems, we find that they share two important features:
1. They tend to go from low entropy to higher entropy,
2. They tend to maintain the lowest possible energy state.
Some systems might reduce entropy, like water freezing into snow flakes (which are more ordered than liquid water), however, it does that while reducing its energy. (actually the snow flake is a reflection to the molecular structure of water).
An electron will fall to the lowest possible energy state and emit a photon, and if excited it will go up temporarily and soon enough it will emit a photon again and maintain the lower energy state.
We cannot find spontaneous natural systems that maintain both low entropy while increasing their energy, EXCEPT a living cell! A living cell maintains an ordered system (low entropy), and produces energy. It is in constant disequilibrium with its environment. Natural spontaneous non-living systems do not do that! The only way that we know of to have both low entropy with high energy is through an intentional design by an intelligent agent (a human being for example).
There were no human beings designing systems before life emerged... and nature cannot spontaneously create the living cell that has both those features. We call The intelligent agent that caused life; God!
