The 2026 IMSA Motul SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix at Road America delivered six hours of high-speed action, championship pressure, and late-race drama. BMW M Team WRT showed strong early pace, but setbacks ended the No. 24 BMW's race and dropped the No. 25 down the order.
The No. 10 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R of Filipe Albuquerque and Ricky Taylor converted its late-race lead into victory, earning the team's first win since Detroit in 2024 and its first with Cadillac. Laurens Heinrich moved the No. 5 JDC-Miller Porsche into second after a post-race penalty for the No. 23 Aston Martin, while Jordan Taylor and Louis Delétraz completed a double Cadillac podium.
In GTD PRO, Pfaff Motorsports broke through with its first win in 36 races as the No. 9 Lamborghini took victory. The No. 77 AO Racing Porsche finished second, with the No. 33 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari completing the podium.
With three rounds remaining, Cadillac extended its GTP manufacturers' championship lead, while Chevrolet maintained its advantage in GTD PRO.
Next on Win the Weekend: the battle on the bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
